We know first impressions are important, and we believe that your paper stationery should impress its reader – from guests who want to celebrate with you to potential clients and business peers. 

Custom designed stationery allows you to create paper goods that perfectly reflect you and meet your wants and needs. The custom design experience at Copper Willow begins at the first inquiry. Our designers immediately dive into the details – your style and your aesthetic – before discussions even move to the paper goods themselves.

Every project is individual and is treated as one-of-a-kind. We also work in cooperation with your contributions, taking your design ideas and edits into consideration as we journey through the design process. Design proofing is facilitated over email with color PDFs and typically takes 2-4 weeks. Once a design is finalized and ready for print, we handle all of the production right in our studio. Our typical print production turnaround is about 4 weeks after proof approval for invitations and large volume orders and 2-3 weeks for all other projects and off-season work.  



Our design meetings are held in our studio in northern Orange County, California. If you are local, we encourage you to make an appointment to come in to peruse samples and select materials and colors you can feel and see. Live outside of our area? We will work virtually with you from a distance through mailed paper samples and lots of phone time.

A fully customized suite of event papers stretches from save the date to the final thank you note afterward. A cohesive, signature look will put a recognizable touch to every piece of paper your guests will handle. This is a list of items we can create for you here at Copper Willow.

Business cards are the “keep” item that serves as the face of your business and also holds your practical contact information. It’s important to make sure that “face” fits your brand, your level of expertise, and also impresses your ideal client. While we do not offer branding, we do have the full capabilities to turn any branding concepts into a fully cohesive set of collateral.  

Business card pricing: These run a large range for pricing because the sky is really the limit. The average expense is around $500 but we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our designers to discuss how to best translate your brand to paper. The average fully designed suite of papers that would include notecards, envelopes, maybe notepads or stickers, as well as business cards, will be $1500+.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I supply my own artwork?

Yes you can! We do have specifications on file types and how to prepare your files for a smooth production process.

Do you offer rush services?

Our standard turnaround is about 4 weeks after proof approval. We have two rush options: a two week turnaround for 25% extra and a 1 week turnaround for 50% extra.

Can we supply paper?

No, we do not take outside paper. We have extensive resources and years of experience with paper to print compatibility and prefer to supply the materials that we know will perform the best.

Can I purchase only design services?

No, we offer a package service – design and printing.

Can you copy an invitation I found online?

No, we won't copy another designer's work. If you love a design but find that the company only offers digital print and you want letterpress or foil, simply ask to buy the design for your one-time use, and we'll be happy to print it for you.

Who owns the artwork once it is produced?

All artwork and designs remain the property of Copper Willow Paper Studio. Your project includes the one-time license for use of artwork on items printed here in the studio. If you would like to obtain the rights to any of your custom art (including calligraphy and custom drawings) for use in other applications, fees start $25 for a color or black & white PNG or JPG file to $100 for editable vector files. Please ask your designer for exact pricing, which is based upon the complexity of the design. Elements such as fonts and paper resources are proprietary.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. As an active production studio, we are usually busy printing. Booking an appointment reserves our time to spend with you.
